385CS/381CS Lumberworks Chainsaw Gloves

As comfortable, dextrous and good looking as a pair of our mechanics gloves, but with an eight-layer lining of Kevlar® on the back of the hand. Specific to the left hand only, chain-arrest woven Kevlar® provides a level of cut resistance that's designed to withstand a chainsaw running at 3140 feet per minute. This meets the EN 381:1999 Class 0 for chainsaw cuts. We’ve designed other great features to compliment their exceptional cut resistance, like water-repellant, smooth, grain goatskin leather palms, that have built in anti-vibration reinforcement. Not only does this improve wear; vibration transfer to the hand is substantially reduced.

Kevlar® is a registered trademark of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company.

Fancier grip patterns do not equal better grip
ImageThere are diamond pattern grips, sandpatch grips, Z-pattern grips, pebble grips and scallop grips. These grip patterns might have a small effect on dry grip, but you are not wearing a dishwashing style to handle dry things. When it comes to wet grip, like in wet, soapy water, our tests have shown all grip patterns perform relatively the same. There are ways to change grip characteristics by changing the glove compounding itself, but grip pattern alone has little-to-no effect on wet grip.
