Side-Split Leather Cut Proof Chainsaw Gloves | Puncture Resistant Glove

We used the heaviest A-grade side-split leather available for our newest Lumberworks glove. Even at a thickness of 1.8 mm they’re flexible, thanks to the Tritan process we use on the side split. Leather this thick offers unparalleled abrasion and puncture resistance for the best protection from splinters when working with wood veneers and rough lumber. A 10 cm./4” high, full apron palm-patch covers the whole key-wear area and wraps around the index finger. The entire glove is sewn with SuperThread, which offers 7 times the abrasion resistance of other top-selling, high-strength sewing threads. Seams are kept to the outside to minimize irritation to hands, since the thickness is doubled in the seam area. 6“(14 cm) pasted side-split leather cuffs protect wrists and forearms.
These gloves tested at 119 Newtons (27 lbs.) for puncture resistance in the double-palm area, and 64 Newtons (14 lbs.) elsewhere.
