Precision Arc™ Deluxe Deerskin Welding Gloves Precision Arc™ deerskin gloves with Nomex® lining offer exceptional dexterity and a fine sense of touch. One-piece cowhide back provides durability. Nomex® lining is a fully flame-retardant material that will not drip or melt on exposure to direct flame, offering excellent insulating properties as well. Protects hands from heat and flame, keeping them cooler and offering assurance that gloves will not ignite around open flame or spark. Gloves are Kevlar® sewn throughout for superior spark-resistance and seam strength, with five inch cowhide gauntlet cuffs. Kevlar® is a registered trademark of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. Fancier grip patterns do not equal better grip
 | There are diamond pattern grips, sandpatch grips, Z-pattern grips, pebble grips and scallop grips.These grip patterns might have a small effect on dry grip, but you are not wearing a dishwashing style to handle dry things. When it comes to wet grip, like in wet, soapy water, our tests have shown all grip patterns perform relatively the same. There are ways to change grip characteristics by changing the glove compounding itself, but grip pattern alone has little-to-no effect on wet grip. |
