Deluxe Lineman Mitt, 6" The leather for our Deluxe Lineman gloves are treated with Waterstop™, which is a fluoro-chemical water repellent emulsion to give the leather excellent water, oil, and stain repellent properties. Other special features include our performance thumb/palm patch which reinforces the critical wear areas with a double layer of leather. the back of the cuff is made with a fluorescent yellow leather with a contrasting red stripe for daytime visibility and a 3M Scotchlite™ retro-reflective stripe for night time visibility. All our Deluxe Lineman Mitts and Gloves are sewn with Kevlar® thread for extra seam strength. Kevlar® is a registered trademark of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. Applications

Fancier grip patterns do not equal better grip
 | There are diamond pattern grips, sandpatch grips, Z-pattern grips, pebble grips and scallop grips.These grip patterns might have a small effect on dry grip, but you are not wearing a dishwashing style to handle dry things. When it comes to wet grip, like in wet, soapy water, our tests have shown all grip patterns perform relatively the same. There are ways to change grip characteristics by changing the glove compounding itself, but grip pattern alone has little-to-no effect on wet grip. |
