EnduraŽ Flame Retardant Cowgrain Fitters Glove These cowgrain gloves have a polyurethane-reinforced gauntlet cuff, as well as all the same great features of our grain fitters gloves, like leather-tipped fingers, knuckle straps, gunn-cut pattern and palm lining. The difference, and what makes them a first in the market, is the fact that the cotton areas of the glove are flame-retardant, and the whole glove is sewn with KevlarŽ thread. These gloves are designed for applications involving open flame or spark, where all other aspects of protective attire are made to be flame-retardant. Up until now, there was no fitters glove on the market made with this quality, so we are pleased to introduce one that is. This was inspired by workers in Alberta's oil sands, but is ultimately geared toward anyone working around flame, arc flashback and spark. Palm is lined for added heat protection.
