FUSION™ Cut- and Chemical-resistant Hybrid Gloves Made with Nitrile and Dyneema®

Superior FUSION™ gloves feature all-in-one cut and chemical protection. Made with Dyneema®, they guard against the dual hazards of cut and chemical exposure to replace the two-glove system of the past. Our newest version features a nitrile layer. Nitrile rubber is a co-polymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene that offers excellent physical-hazard resistance to punctures, cuts, snags and abrasion. It is not flame-resistant. It also has considerable resistance to oils, fuels, and certain organic solvents. The knit shell made with Dyneema® forms the exterior layer, and is bonded to an ergonomically shaped nitrile glove, providing increased wet/dry grip. On the inside, seamless-knit nylon liner provides softness and long wear. Gloves are perfect for applications like the food industry because they can be sterilized for reuse; both Dyneema® and PVC withstand bleach, while gloves are fully launderable at temperatures
under 250°F.

Dyneema® is a registered trademark of Royal DSM N.V.

Common glove myth
ImageLeather is good for abrasion resistance, which is why it is used in motorcycle jackets. However, it is so low in cut resistance that even a lightweight string-knit cotton glove is more cut resistant than the average leather glove.
