Heat-resistant Kevlar® Gloves with SilaChlor® and Temperbloc™

Superior’s revolutionary new heat-resistant gloves bring together three high-performance materials in one high-functioning glove. In fact, heat resistance used to mean you had to wear a mitt to get the kind of protection you needed. Not anymore. With Superior SilaChlor®, you can get all that in a glove instead of a mitt, and more. You get significantly better dexterity and grip with these gloves, making it safer when handling hot objects.
Gloves are a combination of Kevlar®, SilaChlor® and Temperbloc®. All materials are rated for high heat, and both Kevlar® and Temperbloc® withstand open flame and will not melt or drip on exposure.

Kevlar® is a registered trademark of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company.

Glove tip
ImageIt's a good idea to keep both latex gloves and heavy-duty work gloves in a Emergency Preparedness Kit. The latex gloves protect against pathogens when assisting with injuries to people you may not know. The work gloves can be used to protect your hands from broken glass, barbed wire, etc.
