Heat-resistant Kevlar® Gloves with SilaChlor™ and Temperbloc™

Superior’s revolutionary new heat-resistant gloves bring together three high-performance materials in one high-functioning glove. In fact, heat resistance used to mean you had to wear a mitt to get the kind of protection you needed. Not anymore. With Superior SilaChlor®, you can get all that in a glove instead of a mitt, and more. You get significantly better dexterity and grip with these gloves, making it safer when handling hot objects.
Gloves are a combination of Kevlar®, SilaChlor® and Temperbloc®. All materials are rated for high heat, and both Kevlar® and Temperbloc® withstand open flame and will not melt or drip on exposure. Kevlar® is a registered trademark of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company.

Common glove myth
ImageLeather is good for abrasion resistance, which is why it is used in bikers jackets. However, it is so low in cut resistance that even a lightweight string-knit cotton glove is more cut resistant than the average leather glove.
