Emerald CX is Superior Glove’s engineered blend of super-strong materials, combining some of the strongest fibers known to man: stainless steel, Kevlar® and stainless steel mesh. Besides their cut-resistance, the best thing about these gloves is that they don’t feel like highly cut-resistant gloves, which is amazing when you consider that you’re wearing a quarter mile of steel on your hands. This model features a fine, highly flexible, cut-resistant mesh layer between the glove body and the nitrile palm coating. This layer is barely noticeable, yet it withstood 3425 grams (palm) of force in lab trials.
