N230CR Chemical and Cold-resistant Nitrile Gloves

Our chemical- and cold-resistant supported gloves feature a specially formulated nitrile that provides outstanding performance in extreme cold. It will not become brittle, and more importantly, won’t crack in extreme cold, so the high chemical resistance of nitrile is never jeopardized. Gloves also retain their dexterity in the cold in addition to their great puncture and abrasion resistance.
Choose between two styles: 30 cm. gauntlet style for extra wrist protection, or a fully coated knit-wrist style for snug, stay-in-place fit. Both styles feature a forchette thumb for better fit and comfort, and sand-patch grip on the palms to channel oils and liquids away for a more secure grip when working in wet or oily conditions. Gloves are lightweight for better dexterity and comfort, and will fit over a liner for increased warmth.

Do more layers equal more protection?
Construction in the palm area of leather gloves leads to some misconceptions. When sizing up gloves in a catalog, it is tempting to believe – based on appearance alone – that a patch palm is going to double your protection. To the uninitiated, palm patches would seem to offer greater protection, as the double palm looks like it would give twice the protection in that area.
The reality with most patch-palm leather glove styles is that the patch exists as a kind of bridge between two pieces of leather to create a full palm. This enables the glove manufacturer to maximize use of the full hide by using up all the smaller leftover pieces.
