Cut Resistant » RhinoŽ Wire-Core Gloves

Here's another composite-yarn glove that performs cut-protection miracles: Superior's RhinoŽ wire-core gloves made with DyneemaŽ combines multiple strands of stainless steel with an outer wrapping of tough DyneemaŽ fiber. The RhinoŽ offers the highest cut-resistance of any glove in our line. They're specifically designed with the extreme cut hazards of industrial or food applications in mind, and score a rating of 4 in both CE and ASTM cut levels. Note: DyneemaŽ has a low melt point and is not suitable in heat or spark situations.

Fancier grip patterns do not equal better grip
ImageThere are diamond pattern grips, sandpatch grips, Z-pattern grips, pebble grips and scallop grips. These grip patterns might have a small effect on dry grip, but you are not wearing a dishwashing style to handle dry things. When it comes to wet grip, like in wet, soapy water, our tests have shown all grip patterns perform relatively the same. There are ways to change grip characteristics by changing the glove compounding itself, but grip pattern alone has little-to-no effect on wet grip.
