Kevlar® Fiberglass String Knit Slash Resistant Composite Work Gloves

The latest gloves in our Emerald CX lineup are made with our own engineered composite blend of four high-performance technical materials: Kevlar® for cut-resistance, tire-core nylon for abrasion, stainless steel for incredible strength and fiberglass for even more cut resistance. All that in a string knit with great dexterity, snug fit and great touch sensitivity.

Engineered so that the most abrasion-resistant yarns are on the outer face to effectively extend the wear of the glove, we’ve also built in our own ‘wear-extend’ thumb/index-finger reinforcement, which far outwears our competitor’s versions. We also go beyond just wrapping Kevlar® yarn around the 7-micron diameter fiberglass – a diameter that will not cause skin irritation. We entangle and felt the Kevlar® fiber - during the Kevlar® spinning process - around the fiberglass core to eliminate any fiberglass exposure to the wearer’s hands.

Very often with composite-knit gloves, distribution of the different fibers is uneven, resulting in equally uneven protection across the surface of the glove. What makes our gloves unique however is the fact that the fibers throughout every square centimeter of knit are consistent on both the inside and outside surfaces, across the entire glove. Correspondingly, cut and abrasion protection is perfectly even, and is another factor behind the longevity of the glove.
