FUSION™, Cut and Chemical-Resistant PVC Hybrid Glove made with Dyneema® FUSION™ is a revolutionary new glove from Superior that offers the kind of protection one could only dream of before. We’ve combined the incredible cut resistance of stronger-than-steel Dyneema® fibre with flexible, chemical-resistant PVC glove to guard against the dual hazard of sharp materials and chemical exposure - effectively replacing the two glove system of the past. A knit shell made with Dyneema® is bonded on the outside to an ergonomically shaped PVC glove, while a cotton liner provides comfort and warmth. This knit exterior provides texture for a good wet grip and the gloves have great dexterity. Before, in order to obtain both cut and chemical resistance, a chemical-resistant glove would be placed over a cut-resistant knit; this system failed as soon as a tear in the outer glove occurred. The Fusion™ eliminates that problem, and is perfect for applications such as the food industry or metal fabrication. Gloves can be sterilized for reuse as both Dyneema® and PVC can be laundering and can be exposed to bleach. Dyneema® is a registered trademark of Royal DSM N.V. Applications
