Kevlar®/Stainless-steel Metal-stamper’s Gloves

Kevlar® composite-knit glove protects against the extreme hazards faced by metal stampers. Gloves score exceptionally high in both cut and abrasion categories. The yarn construction imparts a ‘rolling’ quality, so sharp edges slide off the surface and dissipate cut. And, gloves with high abrasion resistance have a more consistent level of cut resistance over the life of the glove. With the same cut-level 4 rating as our SKWCP35, the SKWCPT now has over twice the abrasion resistance, for longer glove life and greater cost savings.

Kevlar® is a registered trademark of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company.

Fancier grip patterns do not equal better grip
ImageThere are diamond pattern grips, sandpatch grips, Z-pattern grips, pebble grips and scallop grips. These grip patterns might have a small effect on dry grip, but you are not wearing a dishwashing style to handle dry things. When it comes to wet grip, like in wet, soapy water, our tests have shown all grip patterns perform relatively the same. There are ways to change grip characteristics by changing the glove compounding itself, but grip pattern alone has little-to-no effect on wet grip.
