SuperiorTouch™ Fiberglass/Nylon, made with Dyneema®, PU-palm-coated, Silicone-free

Introducing a cut-resistant glove that’s comfortable, durable, and now, silicone free. Knit from a composite yarn that blends fiberglass, Dyneema® and nylon, gloves provide unparalleled cut and abrasion protection. Alone, fiberglass is brittle, but when wrapped with a monofilament like Dyneema® is protected and supported to eliminate break down. Nylon enhances toughness and wear, while the ergonomically curved hand and finger shape of the seamless-knit shell provides all-day comfort. Palms are coated with tough polyurethane for increased grip in wet/dry/oily conditions. And, because they are silicone free, they make a great choice for paint-line work.

Dyneema® is a registered trademark of Royal DSM N.V.

Do more layers equal more protection?
Construction in the palm area of leather gloves leads to some misconceptions. When sizing up gloves in a catalog, it is tempting to believe – based on appearance alone – that a patch palm is going to double your protection. To the uninitiated, palm patches would seem to offer greater protection, as the double palm looks like it would give twice the protection in that area.
The reality with most patch-palm leather glove styles is that the patch exists as a kind of bridge between two pieces of leather to create a full palm. This enables the glove manufacturer to maximize use of the full hide by using up all the smaller leftover pieces.
