Surge Extrication Gloves | Firefighter Gloves & Fire Fighting Glove Manufacturer Surge Extrication gloves are constructed of supple, flexible, yet strong, dark grey .8mm Clarino® man-made leather, which is machine washable. Black polyurethane coated Kevlar® palm and finger patches for cut and abrasion resistance. Palm patches are lined with anti-vibration foam padding. Padded knuckle strap is made of Black Kevlar® reinforced with Stainless Steel Wire. Egg yolk yellow, stretch Cordura® back of hand and cuff, for comfort and durability. Also available in black. Back of glove is lined with TR2 jersey for comfort. Sport glove Forchette pattern for maximum dexterity, comfort and fit. Elasticized turtleneck cuff keeps broken glass and debris out of glove. Fancier grip patterns do not equal better grip
 | There are diamond pattern grips, sandpatch grips, Z-pattern grips, pebble grips and scallop grips.These grip patterns might have a small effect on dry grip, but you are not wearing a dishwashing style to handle dry things. When it comes to wet grip, like in wet, soapy water, our tests have shown all grip patterns perform relatively the same. There are ways to change grip characteristics by changing the glove compounding itself, but grip pattern alone has little-to-no effect on wet grip. |
