TKNTS - Sure-Grip® Hot Mill Gloves with Nitrile Grip Palms
Introducing four new styles in our Sure-Grip® seamless-knit glove lineup: heat-resistant gloves with grip palms in a choice of regular or cut-resistant styles. Nitrile applied to hot mill gloves marks a huge improvement over PVC because it withstands higher temperatures, and unlike PVC, will not melt or mar surfaces or leave smears on objects behind the way PVC will. We use a unique process to apply nitrile strips across the palms so that grip stays solid for the life of the glove, rather than peeling off with repeated use and laundering. Both styles come in one or both sides coated. The cotton/poly version features loops on the inside to insulate against heat for intermittent contact with hot objects around 400°F/ 200ºC (ASTM level-3) and to provide a smooth exterior surface for applying the nitrile. They offer cool comfort that is safe to wear when handling hot glass or plastic, and can also be used in food service. Kevlar®/cotton knit provides ASTM cut-level 3 protection for dual resistance against heat and cut in applications like glass foundries and the automotive industry. An acrylic liner provides the insulation needed to give these gloves an ASTM heat-level 3 rating as well.
