'Triple Play' Action Steel mesh glove

Our popular ‘Action’ string knit Kevlar® gloves with split leather palms have become an industry standard for cut resistance and durability. So, we’ve been developing and testing something to take that lineup to the next level. Introducing the SKLPSMT: unbelievably strong performance, in the three most vital areas of protection: Abrasion, Cut and Puncture, with EIGHT layers of fine stainless-steel mesh between the leather and the Kevlar® knit in the most critical areas: the thumb, first two fingers and the crotch. A single layer of mesh is in between the entire leather palm and shell. Testing done on these gloves for abrasion reached 10,000 cycles without reaching failure. On the palm area, 7.16 kilos of force were applied before they would puncture, and on the thumb and first two fingertips, it took up to 12.85 kilos of force. Cut resistance is where these gloves are truly off the charts - the thumb, first two finger-tips and thumb crotch are an incredible - and unheard of - over 21,000 grams of cutting force. To acheive a Cut Level of 5, a glove must score 3500 grams. For the palm, we achieved a very high Cut Level 4, with a 3400 gram test result. We are so far off the scale, we even amazed ourselves. And so, we call it the TRIPLE PLAY.

The Workplace HR & Safety Commitment to Worker Safety Award recognizes achievements in safety equipment product development.

Glove tip
ImageIt's a good idea to keep both latex gloves and heavy-duty work gloves in a Emergency Preparedness Kit. The latex gloves protect against pathogens when assisting with injuries to people you may not know. The work gloves can be used to protect your hands from broken glass, barbed wire, etc.
