What is Emerald CX? Our new Kevlar® Steel-Core gloves, called Emerald CX, provide increased cut resistance compared to standard Kelvar gloves. The most amazing thing about these gloves is that even though they are made with 1/4 mile of stainless steel yarn, they feel as comfortable as a pair of cotton gloves. That's because the stainless steel is cleverly wrapped with Kevlar® fibers so you can't feel the steel against your hands. Our Emerald CX is also popular with many customers because of its high durability, lasting longer than standard Kevlar® gloves, thereby saving them money. Common glove myth
 | Leather is good for abrasion resistance, which is why it is used in bikers jackets. However, it is so low in cut resistance that even a lightweight string-knit cotton glove is more cut resistant than the average leather glove. |
