Raw Glass Handling Gloves
Protection for workers handling raw glass must meet several criteria: excellent cut resistance, solid grip, and in some cases, heat protection.
If workers slip when handling raw glass, the probably of getting cut is very high. So gloves must perform the dual function of good cut protection along with providing excellent grip. Puncture is also high on the list.
Many of the styles featured here have palm coatings that provide a minimum of level-2 puncture resistance along with cut levels that range from 2 to 4.
Forearm protection is also a priority. Choose Kevlar® or Dyneema® knit sleeves for ASTM level-2 cut resistance.
