No thanks, I don't want to prevent hand injuries.
A few months ago, we sent some samples of our TenActiv™ 18-Gauge Cut-Resistant Gloves to employees who work at NASA‘s John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
In case you aren’t familiar, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is responsible for the civilian space program in the United States, as well as aeronautics and aerospace research.
NASA is the body behind historic moments like the first human footstep on the moon and the first Earth photos from a satellite.
Understandably we were pretty excited to hear some feedback about the gloves…
Spoiler: They didn’t say “your gloves are out of this world.”
Although they didn’t say that our gloves are out of this world, NASA did provide a lot of really interesting feedback. Here’s an excerpt:
“The fabric is breathable and very comfortable in comparison to the bulkier leather gloves worn for protection from sharp objects. Working with bung wrenches and other tools on site while wearing these gloves made the tasks easier to accomplish since there was no loss of dexterity in the digits. Since the gloves were more comfortable, the users were less likely to remove the PPE at any given time while performing the task at hand.”
