In recent months, the cost of leather has risen noticeably. While manufacturers have been well aware of these changes, the marketplace and consumer segment is just beginning to understand how these shortages affect our industry.
We would like all of our customers to know that consistent quality and customer satisfaction are of the utmost importance to us. For those reasons, we refuse to reduce the quality of our products by purchasing more readily available, but lower quality, split leathers and grain. Those who manufacture leather gloves for the bottom line will have customers and end users who can expect poor fit, reduced comfort, less durability, and even decreased productivity. Those who choose to stay with manufacturers dedicated to high quality and reliable hand protection solutions may see an increase in prices. However, they will maintain their established safety standards.
