Superior Glove is Wheely Excited for the 2016 Bike Challenge!

Picture this: you’ve decided to trade the family car for your trusty two wheeler for the day. The smell of freshly cut grass and the sound of children’s laughter fills the air as you pedal around your neighbourhood. You feel a soft breeze as you whiz by houses, trees, and families having picnics, gardening, and playing together outside. You feel the warm summer sun shine down on you as you cruise around town, taking in all of the sights and sounds.

You smile as you think to yourself how much you love living in the community of Halton Hills. It really is the perfect day for a bike ride.

It’s that time of year again: the 2016 Halton Hills Community Bike Challenge has officially begun! We at Superior Glove are very excited to be a sponsor of this fantastic event once again this year. Last year, the participants in the bike challenge not only reached our goal of cycling the equivalent of the distance from here to the moon, but we also raised over $178,000 for the Georgetown Hospital Foundation!

This year, we want to take it one step further. Superior Glove is very proud to be one of the community business sponsors of this fantastic event once again this year. Because of this, we want to encourage our friends, families, and colleagues to get out there and have fun pedalling around town. Let’s work together to log even more kilometres all summer long, and give back to our amazing community by raising even more funding for the Georgetown Hospital Foundation than last year.

Let’s make this our best year yet! Go big or go home, right? :-)

And, if you happen to see one of our employees riding around Acton on one of our company bikes during their lunch or breaks, be sure to give them a friendly wave!

Want to take advantage of the warm weather and give back to your community? It’s not too late to join this year’s Community Bike Challenge: click the banner below to sign up and start logging your kilometres!
