The Land of Forgotten Winter Gloves

We’ve showcased our favorite winter gloves on the blog before.

For today’s blog, we looked at Rudolph and the Island of Misfit Toys for inspiration.

We wanted to focus on our forgotten gloves, the ones that don’t get promoted nearly enough. Those misfit toys still made kids happy and these forgotten gloves offer impressive protection from cold weather or extreme work conditions.

Note: We distanced ourselves from the “misfit” title because we offer lots of sizes so you get the perfect fit every time.

For anyone not quite in the Holiday Spirit just yet, you can think of these as the Rodney Dangerfield gloves. They’re the ones that “don’t get no respect.”

Endura® Thinsulate™-Lined Hi-Viz Reflective Goat-Grain Driver Gloves:

The first danger most of us think about when working in the cold is frostbite or hypothermia, but if you’ve ever had to work when it’s snowing hard, you know that it can be just as challenging to see your hands as it is to keep them warm.

As Derek and Katie talked about in our hi-viz webinar with 3M, it’s important to contrast yourself from your environment.

These gloves use 3M’s Scotchlite™ retro-reflective stripes for increased visibility on the job.

These gloves also feature:

  • ANSI level 3 puncture resistance
  • Goatskin leather for great abrasion resistance
  •  Thinsulate™ lining rated to 5°F (-15°C)

Perfect for industries like:

  • Maintenance
  • Construction
  • Agriculture

Endura® Cowgrain Winter Mitt with Acrylic-Pile Lining:

Mitts keep your hands warmer than gloves, plain and simple. But that means losing independent movement of your fingers.

These hybrid beauties offer the best of both worlds: the warmth of a mitt and the finger freedom of a glove.

These gloves also feature:

  • Cowgrain leather for high abrasion resistance
  • Acrylic BOA pile lining for good insulation
  • Elasticized at front of wrist for snug fit that keeps snow out

Perfect for industries like:

  • Cold storage/warehouse
  • Construction
  • Ranching

SnowForce™ Brown Split Leather Thinsulate™ Lined Freezer Glove:

These are heavy-duty winter gloves, great for subzero temperatures.

They have a double layer of leather on the palm and a thumb patch so they will hold up for the toughest jobs.

These gloves also feature:

  • C100 Thinsulate™ and foam lined for wet and wintry conditions
  • Extra long cuffs for warmer wrists
  • Cowsplit leather protects against scraps and abrasions

Perfect for industries like:

  • Refrigerated Warehouses
  • Construction
  • Material Handling
