Superior Glove Remembers
“We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.”
–From “In Flanders Fields” by John McCrae (1915)
Here at Superior Glove, it’s no secret that we’re extremely proud of our Canadian heritage.
This Remembrance Day, we’re remembering the thousands of Canadian soldiers who suffered war wounds during WWI and WWII. We’re commemorating the many mothers and sisters who provided unwavering support to their fearless loved ones while they were away at war. We’re honouring the 1305 casualties from Newfoundland who bravely perished on the battlefield.
This Remembrance Day, we’re committing the thousands of sons, brothers, husbands, and fathers who battled for our freedom to memory. These heroes fought so that we wouldn’t have to, and for that, we will forever be thankful.
Lest we forget.
